In honor of Halloween, I decided to watch Terrifier. If you are unfamiliar with it, it is a horror movie based on a crazy clown that does not talk who is trying to kill three women in a wretched and very old apartment building. This movie was originally made in 2016, but there was recently a sequel released in 2022. Some people hope that there will be a third in 2024. Majority of the ratings are a 5 out of 5 stars, but here is why I rated it a 3 out of 5.
This movie is not a bad movie, but it is disgustingly gory. The plot of the movie was good, a little confusing at first but good. The movie kept me on the edge of my seat; I never knew what to expect next. If you are a big fan of horror movies and want to watch this movie, I recommend it, but I should definitely warn you about how much blood is in this movie. This movie is most definitely not for kids under the age of 14, as most horror movies are not. This movie kept me thinking about it some of the day. I recommend this movie if you are a fan of gory movies such as Terrifer. I rated it a three because I am not a fan of gore; I can only handle so much of it in a movie because it is very disturbing.
As a conclusion, I recommend this movie for horror fans, but I definitely do not recommend it for people who have a weak stomach; some parts made me feel nauseous and sick. This movie had a great budget, and the acting was pretty good. Overall, I would not watch this movie again.
