Dirt bikes vs Four-Wheelers

by Sam Thorn on October 25, 2023

My article is about dirt bikes versus four-wheelers. The reason I chose this to write about is because I like riding with friends. I think a dirt bike is safer than a four-wheeler because if you would wreck a dirt bike, you can get away from it. If you would happen to roll a four-wheeler you could not get away from it as easy as you could a dirt bike. Also, a four-wheeler has a lot more weight than a dirt bike, and if you would happen to wreck a dirt bike, you could just push it off of you, but a four-wheeler you are liable to have it land on you, and it could crush you more. Also, a four-wheeler costs more than a dirt bike, and the maintenance on them costs more; also, it varies what brand four-wheeler or dirt bike you get.

Dirt bikes are generally faster than a four-wheeler because they do not have as much weight slowing them down. However, with four-wheelers they do better in the mud, snow, and deep water because if you were on a dirt bike in the mud, you are just going to get stuck and spin, and in snow you’ll do the same thing. Four-wheelers are much easier to learn on, unlike a dirt bike.
