Earlier last week, I interviewed Grafton soccer player Landen Hulley. Here are the questions I asked him.
What is your best achievement in your career? “Going to states last season and being recognized as 2nd team all-state.”
What are you going to miss the most about Grafton Soccer? “Playing soccer with my childhood friends.”
What is your favorite position to play in soccer? “Defensive Mid (Midfield).”
How long have you been playing soccer? “14 years.”
How many teams/clubs have you played for? “9 teams.”
What is your favorite game you’ve ever played in? “Sectional final 2022 against Robert C Byrd.”
Hulley played soccer for Grafton for four years. He started all four years for Grafton and played Midfield most of his career. He had an all-time record of 42-32-9(W-L-D). Freshman year they were 3-12-2, Sophomore year they were 12-7-2, Junior year they were 14-5-4, and Senior year they were 13-8-1. He won two sectional titles, one regional title, and made it to states one time. He plans to play soccer in college. He had 28 goals, 28 assists, and 377 steals in three years (freshman stats not available). That is a recap on Grafton soccer player Landen Hulley.
