Haunting Adeline Review

by Courtney Hatfield on April 30, 2024

Haunting Adeline is a thriller/ romance novel that will leave you interested until the very end where you can continue to read in the second book Hunting Adeline and follow up with Where’s Molly. I decided to read the novel based upon multiple recommendations, and to say the least, I was certainly not disappointed. In the novel you read from the perspective of Adeline and also the perspective of her stalker Zade Meadows. The book is essentially about a young successful female author who moved into her late grandmother’s gothic manor (Parson's Manor) where she acquires a stalker. She also finds a diary from her great grandmother upon remodeling the home. Throughout the read you learn about Adeline and her stalker as well as family secrets long forgotten. You are met with many questions throughout the book, for me personally I was left questioning if Zade really is a bad person. I am left to think he is not a bad guy all in all, but that is for other readers to decide. I really enjoyed both books, but I can say they are not for the faint of heart. If you are triggered by human trafficking, assault, violence, or gory events I would suggest skipping this novel.
