FBLA stands for Future Business Leaders of America. In FBLA you can either present a power point or take a test to compete. When you compete at states and place top four in your competition, you get to move on to nationals. Last year they were held in Atlanta, Georgia, and this year they will be they will be in Orlando, Florida. In FBLA we do a lot of community service projects. FBLA is a great club not only for the fact that you get to learn about business, but you also get to have so much fun and make some lifelong friendships!
On Saturday, September 23, we will be helping at the GHS cross country meet at West Taylor Elementary School. On October 26, we will have a table at the Bearcat Sugar Rush. FBLA will be hosting a 5K race on November 18th at Tygart Lake. If you are interested in joining FBLA, it is not too late. We will be having a meeting every other Monday during double lunch at 12:00 p.m. in Mrs. Bolyard’s room (TC 7). Dues for FBLA ($20) are due September 29th. We hope to see you at our next meeting.
